I was raised on Oahu, with strong family roots in Hawaii. I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelors in Education, and then focused my career on special needs children at Loveland Academy, the largest treatment Center for Autism on Oahu. During my 11 years there, I created, developed and led the integrative outdoor education program, Mauka Ma Kai. Working with autistic children and young adults opened my eyes in a way I’d never imagined. Patience, gratitude, and compassion filled my heart as I built close relationships with both students and their families.
I moved to Maui from Oahu in 2011. As it turns out, my local upbringing, the relationships I've formed across Hawaii, and my personal and professional education and training have all combined to bring a valuable wealth of knowledge to the process of evaluating, buying and selling real estate in Hawaii.
Over the years, I’ve been involved in a wide range of transactions across the island: oceanfront residences; vacation rental investment properties; entry-level homes; vacant land; bed and breakfasts; and more…
It’s all given me a thorough understanding of Maui County’s zoning and building ordinances, as well the specific needs of a wide variety of clients. I’ve worked closely with developers, contractors, equity partners and principals, and generational landowners.
I’ve developed a keen eye for quality of construction as well as the marketing and design elements required to effectively bring out a property's best attributes. When I’m hired to sell a property I bring in a great team of photographers, videographers, handymen, and then I often add staging and landscaping to showcase the property in its most beautiful light. From there - our creative and marketing teams insure the maximum amount of exposure possible.
The islands' extensive history, culture, and lifestyle have all been ingrained in me since birth. Beyond my role as a Realtor, I’m an active water-woman, yoga instructor, and am deeply involved in the community here on Maui.
