Since moving to Hawai’i, I’ve met numerous people who have tried living here, but have ended up moving away for a variety of reasons. Based on my personal experience, as well as talking with locals, as well as others who have only recently moved here, or have lived here for years, the video below has some things I recommend you consider before making a final decision to move to Hawai’i. Some “challenges” people find living here are simply due to living in a remote archipelago. Others however, have simple (but not easy) solutions that would improve the overall quality of life here for residents, if the government had the incentive to make the changes.
